March is all about honoring the trailblazing women who have shaped history—from the fearless suffragists who fought for our rights to the powerhouse entrepreneurs redefining industries today. While Women’s History Month was officially recognized in 1987, its roots date back to a bold week-long celebration in Sonoma, California, in 1978. Since then, it has grown into a movement that spotlights the achievements, resilience, and impact of women across generations.

Women have always been the driving force behind change, but in recent years, we’ve witnessed an inspiring surge of female entrepreneurs breaking barriers and shattering glass ceilings. Today, women-owned businesses make up 42% of all U.S. businesses, generating an incredible $1.9 trillion in revenue (American Express, 2020). But let’s be real—the journey hasn’t been easy. Women continue to push through challenges with grit, adaptability, and relentless determination.

This Women’s History Month, we’re celebrating that unstoppable spirit! We asked four inspiring women entrepreneurs to share the lessons they’ve learned along the way. Their insights reveal what it takes to lead with confidence, embrace challenges, and build a legacy of success.

🌟 Customer Service in the Age of Self-Serve

When it comes to Customer Service, in a business environment where everyone is shifting to a “self-serve” or “do it yourself” model, we believe that businesses who continue to offer a comprehensive customer service experience will thrive. In our business, instead of “DIY,” we focus on providing “TED”—Trust, Empathy, and Direction. We are their biggest advocates, and in turn, they become our biggest fans.

Social media can only do so much to promote us. Once we’ve earned their phone call or visit, it’s up to us to grow the connection!

With the rapid pace of technological advancements transforming every aspect of life and business, it’s ironic that change has become one of the few constants in the modern world. To thrive amidst these shifts, companies must continuously evaluate emerging changes and ensure their core values and vision remain at the forefront as they navigate waves of transformation.

Success during such times requires investing in recruiting and developing team members with diverse skill sets who align with the organization’s values and mission. No matter how far technology progresses, an organization's greatest asset remains its internal and external customers.

I collaborate with my clients to enhance productivity, foster teamwork, and boost overall job satisfaction, ultimately leading to a more fulfilling work-life balance.

My work is anchored in the principle of developing both people and profits with integrity, while bridging the potential gap to create lasting success!

Busy Days, Powerful Women: A Tribute to Those Who Lead & Inspire! ✨
 
March has been a whirlwind for Carmen, full of amazing moments and inspiring women! She’s had the privilege of connecting with incredible leaders, creators, and change-makers. While we couldn’t capture everyone, here’s a glimpse of just a few of the strong, talented women making an impact every day.
 

Whether in front of the camera, behind the scenes, or leading in their own way, their hard work, creativity, and resilience deserve to be celebrated. To all the women out there making a difference—this one’s for you! ❤️
 

- As of 2024, California leads the nation in women-owned businesses, with 295,633 female-owned employer firms. This highlights the state’s strong entrepreneurial ecosystem, where women continue to drive innovation, job creation, and economic growth.
